A museum that brings together
The shipyard, founded in 1946, was a social economic project. 20 people from the village, men and women, each invested a thousand dollars for the creation of the building site. To this day, their generosity and foresight continues to pay generous educational dividends to our community and visitors!
Heir to this sense of community, the museum organizes festive, free and recurring events.
On Sundays, July 5, August 2, September 6 and October 4, it's free at the Museum for all Quebec residents. With its site by the river, its schooners, its shipyard and its park, the Museum has everything to inspire culture! This initiative of the ministère de la Culture et des Communications aims to ensure accessibility to Quebec culture everywhere and for the benefit of all.
July 5: Special invitation to artists who wish to come and paint or draw on the site.
August 2: A singer will provide entertainment throughout the afternoon.
September 6: Sax and jazz aboard the Museum.
October 4: Fall photos and colors contest.
