Tourisme Charlevoix Photo, André-Olivier Lyra

Located near La Malbaie and Baie-Saint-Paul, just two minutes from the Isle-aux-Coudres ferry, the Museum offers an epic historical voyage, a unique opportunity to discover an important part of Quebec’s maritime history.

Schooners sailed from the mouth of the St. Lawrence River to the Great Lakes, loaded with wood, food or other cargo, and thus contributed to the development of our province. The Museum honours the memory of the ships, their crews, and their builders. The Museum honours the memory of the ships, their crews, and their builders.

Accompanied by experienced interpretation guides, relive this epic adventure by visiting the historic dockyard and its ships.
